“I am seeking reelection as Mayor of the City of Fort Myers because our city is moving in the right direction, but there is still more to accomplish.

Over the past term, we have made meaningful progress. Crime is down, making our neighborhoods safer. Our streets are being resurfaced, improving daily life for residents and visitors alike. We have invested in upgrading our utilities to support long-term growth and reliability. Financially, the city is stronger than it has been in years, with healthy reserve funds and a reduced millage rate from 7.9643 to 6.5000, easing the burden on taxpayers.

At the same time, economic development is gaining momentum, bringing new opportunities and energy to our community.

Looking ahead, the future is bright. Transformational projects like the Midtown redevelopment, the restoration of the yacht basin, and the creation of a Black Cultural Center will further enhance our city’s vibrancy, heritage, and economic vitality.

I am running for reelection to continue building on this progress, to see these projects through, and to ensure that Fort Myers remains a city we are all proud to call home.”
